Terms & Conditions of Service
Last Updated: March 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website https://jacksonvilleplumberexpert.com and the plumbing services provided by Jacksonville Plumber Expert, founded by Robert Williams and operating at 813 Edgewood Ave S, Jacksonville, FL 32205. By accessing our website or engaging our plumbing technicians, you agree to these standard business terms.
Estimates & Scope of Work Authorization
All formal estimates are based on on-site visual and mechanical diagnostics. Before work commences, our technician provides a written scope of work and flat-rate quotation for customer authorization. If unforeseen structural defects or concealed plumbing deteriorations (such as rotted subflooring, asbestos insulation, ungrounded wiring, or non-code legacy installations) are discovered during execution, work will be paused and an updated proposal will be presented before proceeding.
Workmanship & Manufacturer Warranties
We stand behind our professional craftsmanship. All labor performed by our licensed technicians is backed by our standard craftsmanship warranty. Installed plumbing components (such as water heaters, faucets, pumps, and valves) carry their respective manufacturer warranties. Warranties do not cover damages resulting from external physical trauma, customer tampering, severe municipal water pressure surges exceeding code limits, or extreme weather force majeure events.
Customer Responsibilities & Job Site Access
Homeowners and property managers are responsible for providing clear, safe physical access to the work area, main water shutoff valves, and electrical panels. In the case of severe bio-hazard sewage backups, clear pathways must be maintained to ensure safe containment and sanitary extraction.
Payment Terms, Cancellations & Billing Policies
Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of authorized work, unless structured under a formal financing agreement or commercial credit account. We accept major credit cards, electronic bank transfers, and verified financing disbursements.
Municipal Permitting & Code Compliance
Where required by the Florida Building Code and the City of Jacksonville Building Inspection Division, Jacksonville Plumber Expert will secure all appropriate plumbing permits and schedule required municipal inspections. Customers agree to provide reasonable access to municipal inspectors to verify code compliance upon project completion.
Hazardous Materials & Pre-Existing Environmental Conditions
In older properties, existing structures may contain asbestos, lead paint, or mold. If suspected hazardous materials are encountered during excavation or drywall access, work will be paused immediately in the affected zone to ensure homeowner and technician safety until certified remediation or safe bypass protocols can be established.
Dispute Resolution & Customer Satisfaction
In the rare event of a disagreement regarding service quality or warranty interpretation, the parties agree to first engage in good-faith direct consultation with founder Robert Williams to achieve an amicable resolution before pursuing third-party mediation.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and all service agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and municipal ordinances of the City of Jacksonville (Duval County).
